Day 1 : Arrive Paro. (altitude range: 2200m)
- Paro Local sight seeing that includes visit to Rinpung Dzong and its watchtower, the National Museum.
Day 2: Paro to Phobjikha 5hrs. drive (altitude range: 2200m-3300m)
- Proceed to Phobjikha with brief stopover at Dochu-la pass (3,088m).
- Explore Phobjikah valley
Day 3: Black-necked crane valley visit and then proceed to Bumthang 6 hrs drive. (altitude range: 1500m-3000m)
- Proceed to Bumthang with a short walk at Pelela pass (3300 meters). Another place to visit is the Tadzong or the watch tower.
Day 4: Bumthang local tour (altitude range: 3000-3300m)
- Take a Bumthang valley tour in the morning followed by Wangdichoeling palace museum, and then in the afternoon, proceed to Ura.
- En-route, visit MebarTsho the sacred burning lake. Stop at Shelthang La Pass for a view across the Ura valley towards Mt. GangkarPhunsum. From here, choose to continue the journey to Ura on foot (1.5 hours) or continue by car.
Day 5 : Journey to Khoma (altitude range: 2500-3500m)
- Travel to khoma from Ura. It is approximately 7 hours drive. Khoma is known as the paradise of Bhutanese textiles where the popular textile “Kishuthara “ is woven.
Day 6 : Khoma Kishuthara Tour: (altitude range: 2000m-2800m)
- Kishuthara tour followed by trip to Takila where the largest Guru Padma Sambhava statue stands overlooking the Lhuentse valley.
Day 7 : Return journey to Ura 7-8 hrs. drive (altitude range: 2500-3300m)
- Visit to Mongar on the way back to Ura.
Day 8,9: Ura Local tour and community experience (altitude range: 3000-3300m)
- Enjoy four more days with the community of Ura and Chumey. Enjoy day walks through the valley and surrounding hills, visit local farms growing wheat and barley, meet yak-herds and discover forests carpeted with mushrooms and enjoy fresh dishes. Visit the local Yathra weavers, discover local monasteries, relax in a hot stone bath and enjoy local folk music. Immerse yourself in village life. Farewell night with the community members
Day 8: The first day Ura will begin with the Ura cultural trip.
Day 9:
- The village ways life in Ura
- Followed by Hotstone bath in the afternoon.
Day 10: Ura to Punakha. 7 hrs.(altitude range: 1500m-3000m)
- Ura to Punakha with brief stopover at Chummey where Yathra weaving is a community tradition.
Day 11: Transfer to Thimphu. (altitude range: 2200m-3000m)
- Visit Punakha Dzong built in 1637 and then visit Chimi Lhakhang the temple dedicated to the Divine Mad Man of Bhutan popularly known as Lama Drukpa Kuenley.
- Drive to Thimphu with en-route visit to Lamperi Botanical Park area.
Upon arrival in Thimphu the sightseeing includes:
- Traditional Paper Factory and Weaving Centre.
- National Memorial Chorten and Buddha point
Day 12: Thimphu local (altitude range: 2200m-2500)
Sightseeing in Thimphu valley includes visits to:
- Institute for 13 traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan;
- Thangtong Dewachen Nunnery; National Takin Preserve and Buddha point.
Day 13 : Day excursion to Taktsang. (altitude range: 2200-2900m)
- Take a day excursion on foot to the renowned Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest.
Day 14 : Homeward Journey.
- Transfer to Paro International airport for homeward journey
