Day 01: Arrive Paro

  • After landing at Paro, drive of about 2 hours’ duration to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing  

  • Visit Kuenselphodrang, the buddha point, followed by Institute for Zorig Chusum, the school of 13 traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan.
  • Visit the farmers market to get a feel of Bhutan’s agriculture industry
  • Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Traditional paper factory and  Centennial vegetable market. – Visit Tashi Chhodzong in the evening.                                                                                                   

Day 03:  Thimphu to Punakha.

  • Proceed to Punakha crossing Dochula Pass.
  • Visit to Chimmi Lhakhang, the monastery of the divine mad man lama Drukpa Kuenley.
  • Visit to Punakha Dzong, the old capital of Bhutan.

Day 04: Travel to Phobjikha.

  • Proceed to Phobjikha.  the valley of the winter home of black necked cranes.
  • Visit the crane centre and Gangtey monastery. Overnight a Phobjikha

Day 05: Gangtey to Paro with enroute visit to Lamperi park. 

  • Drive to Paro with en-route visit to Royal Botanical Park, lamperi.

Day 06: Paro Taktsang Excursion.

  • Day excursion on foot to the renowned Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest.
  • Afternoon visit to National museum at Paro.

Day 07: Fly to onward destination  

  • Leave hotel to Airport for onward destination.
  • Accommodation in 3-star hotels (upgradable on request)
